Meet the group at the airport and board our flight to Colombia
Upon our arrival in Bogota we will transfer to the hotel the Hotel Museo De San Moritz where we will be staying for 3 nights. The rooms all have en-suite bathrooms.
Breakfast is included each morning
Throughout the tour we will be staying in twin rooms but there is an option to have a room to yourself for the trip. If you wish to have a room to yourself for the 13 the supplement will be £400 The supplement will be payable at the same time as the balance.
It’s off to discover Bogotá on a guided sightseeing tour designed to offer a complete experience that combines history, culture, art, and local cuisine on a carefully organized tour of the main icons of the Colombian capital.
The experience begins with the ascent to Monserrate Hill, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, located at 3,150 meters above sea level. From its summit, we will enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Bogotá
We continue to the historic centre and a walking tour of La Candelaria, the colonial heart of the city. Its cobbled streets, traditional balconies, and colorful facades tell the story of Bogotá’s origins as we discover squares, churches, and cultural spaces that preserve centuries of tradition.
During the experience, we’ll visit the Gold Museum, considered one of the most important in Latin America, where we’ll learn about the legacy of pre-Hispanic cultures through an impressive collection of indigenous goldsmithing pieces. We will also explore the Botero Museum, which houses works by the renowned Colombian artist Fernando Botero along with international art collections.
The tour includes a stop at Plaza de Mercado La Concordia, where we’ll enjoy a local food tasting with tropical fruits and natural juices, followed by a Colombian coffee experience prepared by a professional barista in a traditional café in the area.

After breakfast and check out we will take our transfer to the airport and take a short flight to Pareira and transfer to the gorgeous Salento, a vibrant, colonial mountain town nestled in the heart of Colombia’s coffee triangle.
Our hotel, La Posada de la Plaza is located 100 metres from Salento main square and steps from Real Street and its craft markets. Free WiFi access is available in public areas.
Our rooms have private bathrooms, free toiletries and wifi is available in public areas.

Today it’s off to the Cocora Valley, home to the world’s tallest palm trees, the wax palms, which stand over 60 metres high. The lush valley is part of the larger Los Nevados National Natural Park and provides visitors with breathtaking scenery and opportunities for exploration. This tour is perfect for nature lovers and those looking to experience one of the most beautiful landscapes in Colombia.
Explore the breathtaking Cocora Valley. Walk through the valley, marvel at the towering wax palms, and enjoy the rich biodiversity of this natural wonder. Our guide will share the history and significance of the area during our hike.
After a lunch stop (at our own expense) we will enjoy a visit to a local coffee farm and learn all about the production of some of the best coffee in the world!
Today we have the full day to relax and enjoy, chill and explore the surroundings as we choose.
Dinner will be booked locally.
Today we will take our land transfer to Medellin.
The total time on the road will be around 6 hours but will feature a lengthy break at Santa Rosa De Cabal where we will have time to unwind in the thermal hot springs which sit directly at the base of a spectacular cascading cold waterfall. After a spot of lunch in the charming small town we will hit the road to Medellin.

Today it’s a deep dive into the history of Medellin and its transformation. We have 2 fantastic tours both very worthy of a spot on our itinerary
First off we will learn about the story of Pablo Escobar from someone who lived through Medellin’s dark past. Start with a visit to the museum of Pablo Escobar’s family, Beyond Pablo Escobar.
Next, visit the grave of Pablo Escobar, as well as the graves of Gonzalo Gaviria and Griselda Blanco, better known as the Black Widow. Then, visit the roof where Pablo Escobar died and learn about the different versions of his final hours.
Finally, visit the famous Inflexion Park, where you’ll see a commemoration of the victims of the Medellin cartel bombings.
On our second tour we will learn about how Medellin went from one of the world’s most dangerous places to Colombia’s favorite city on a private tour of Comuna 13 – a neighborhood that’s undergone the most radical transformation. We’ll visit street art murals and overcome the language barrier during meetings with local residents.
Today we enjoy a full day trip to “Guatape” a vibrant world class resort town in the andean hills, widely known as “the most colourful town in Colombia”
Our tour includes breakfast and lunch and a boat ride around Guatape Dam.

If you would like to climb up the 700 steps that lead to the top of Penol rock you will be rewarded with the most spectacular 360 degree views .

This morning after checking out we will take a short flight to Cartagena. Where we will be staying for 2 nights.
Hotel Voilá Getsemaní By Huespedia in Cartagena is an adults only hotel with air-conditioning, private bathrooms, and modern amenities.
We can enjoy an indoor swimming pool, plunge pool, and free WiFi.
This evening we will visit the Plaza de la Trinidad, a few minutes from our hotel where the historic colonial era buildings act as the backdrop against a vibrant, modern scene, with people dancing the night away beneath the golden glow of street lanterns.
We’ll arrive before sunset to grab a seat at one of the outdoor cafés, where we can savor dinner with a view and indulge in some prime people-watching as the plaza comes to life. Live music fills the air, authentic street food is sold on just about every corner, and locals and visitors become friends.
This morning we will take the ferry crossing to Isla Palma in the San Bernardo National Park. The perfect place to unwind. Here we will enjoy a 2 night secluded tropical island escape
Our hotel, the Hotel Isla Palma Reserva Natural in Palma, has a private beach area, sun terrace, and lush garden. You can relax by the saltwater pool or enjoy the open-air bath.

The traditional restaurant serves local cuisine for lunch and dinner.
Today we have a free day to relax and explore the island as we please.
After checking out we take the ferry back to the mainland and spend our final evening in Cartagena and enjoy a farewell dinner locally together.
