Phase 1: Atmospheric, vibrant, eclectic Jakarta (2 nights) We kick things off in Jakarta, Indonesia’s high-energy capital. It’s a city of contrasts where sleek skyscrapers rub shoulders with colonial history. You’ll have time to soak up the vibes of Old Batavia, treat your tastebuds to world-class street food, and get your bearings before we head into the wilder side of the archipelago.
Phase 2: The Heart of Flores (5 Nights) Next, we fly to Flores, and honestly? Prepare to have your breath taken away. This isn’t your average tourist trail. We’re going deep into the highlands to visit the legendary Waerebo Village. To get to these iconic “mbaru niang” cone-shaped houses, we’ll trek through lush jungles – but don’t worry, we’ve been promised it’s “easy peasy”. It is a truly magical, soul-stirring experience. But we aren’t done with the land yet! We’ll also be exploring the island’s dramatic volcanoes. Whether it’s watching the sunrise over a crater or trekking through emerald-green valleys, Flores is pure, rugged beauty.
Phase 3: Set Sail for Dragons (3 Nights) To top it all off, we’re swapping our hiking boots for flip-flops! We’ll board our very own private boat for a 3-night cruise through the Komodo National Park. · Dragon Spotting: We’ll head ashore at Komodo Island to come face-to-face with the world’s largest lizards. Island Hopping: Think Pink Beach, crystal-clear snorkeling spots, and sunset views from the deck of the boat. Starry Nights: There is nothing quite like falling asleep to the sound of the waves and waking up in a brand-new hidden cove.
Phase 4: Tropical Bliss in Labuan Bajo (2 Nights) After the rugged mountains of Waerebo and the salt-spray of the Komodo seas, it’s time to dial the pace right down. We’re heading to the outskirts of Labuan Bajo for two nights of pure, unadulterated “chill.” It’s tropical luxury at its finest-the perfect “pinch-me” moment before we start the journey home.
Phase 5: The Grand Finale, Jakarta (1 Night) We’re heading back to Jakarta for our final night, but don’t let the words “Airport Hotel” fool you! We’ve picked a hidden gem that feels more like a lakeside retreat than a transit stop. A smooth, stylish end to an unforgettable journey This isn’t just a holiday; it’s a full-throttle exploration of the best Indonesia has to offer. From the urban bustle of Jakarta to the ancient traditions of Waerebo and the prehistoric vibes of Komodo, it’s 14 nights of pure magic.
