Meet the group at the airport and board our flight to Qatar

Upon our arrival in Doha we will transfer to our hotel the 5* Hotel Warwick.

We will be staying in  Deluxe rooms and breakfast is included each morning. There is a rooftop pool and 2 restaurants.

Throughout the tour we will be staying in twin rooms but there is an option to have a room to yourself for the trip. If you wish to have a room to yourself for the 7 nights. The supplement will be £260. The supplement will be payable at the same time as the balance.     

The Travel Buddies trips work on the basis that as long as you are having a good time then that is what matters, if you don’t feel like coming on one of the excursions or joining the rest of the group for dinner one evening then that is absolutely fine. This is an adventure for everyone and there is nothing worse than having to go somewhere/do something that you don’t really fancy!

Feel free to do as much or as little research as you like, some members will know what they would like to visit as soon as they book the trip, Others will just turn up at the airport and have not researched at all. Either is absolutely fine. We all have different ideas as to what constitutes a great time away!

Today we explore the city of Doha on a private guided  tour that visits numerous landmarks and gives us insight into the culture, history, and rapid development of Qatar.

We will  start our tour at Souq Waqif, the bustling traditional market in the heart of Doha. Explore narrow alleyways filled with spices, perfumes, textiles, handicrafts, and souvenirs. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and get a glimpse of authentic Qatari culture as local vendors welcome you with warmth and hospitality.

Drive through the scenic Doha Corniche, a waterfront promenade stretching for several kilometers along the bay. Admire panoramic views of the skyline, the turquoise waters, and modern architecture. The Corniche offers a perfect photo opportunities to capture the city’s stunning contrast of tradition and modernity

Experience Doha from the water aboard a traditional wooden dhow. Sail along the Corniche while enjoying panoramic views of the city’s skyline.

Pass through West Bay, Doha’s central business district, where towering skyscrapers and contemporary architecture define the cityscape. Admire the innovative designs and learn how Doha has transformed into a modern metropolis while preserving its rich heritage.

Visit Katara Cultural Village, a hub of art, culture, and performance in Doha. Katara provides insight into Qatar’s artistic and cultural vision, blending modern creativity with traditional elements.

Discover The Pearl-Qatar, an artificial island known for luxury living, shopping, and dining, stroll along its marinas lined with yachts, boutiques, and cafes, and enjoy the European inspired architecture that makes this destination a favorite for both tourists and locals.

We conclude our tour with a visit to Lusail Marina, a modern waterfront destination featuring luxury yachts, elegant promenades, and striking architecture. Capture the stunning skyline and enjoy a relaxing stroll along this contemporary hub of leisure and lifestyle.

This afternoon and evening we  enjoy the Qatari desert. Our adventurous journey starts by heading towards the South of Qatar. Before entering the desert, the Off road professional drivers will deflate the tyres and make the vehicle ready for dune bashing to enjoy a breathtaking ride across the desert over the sand dunes. The drive will take us to the marvelous inland sea area near the Qatar- Saudi Arabia border and then to a desert hospitality camp.

After arriving at the camp, we will enjoy the view of sand dunes and the beach at the inland  sea. In the meantime, our professional chef will prepare a barbecue for us to enjoy under the stars.

The camp is equipped with Bedouin style tents, complete with carpets and traditional seating.

Hotel pick up and drop off are included.

Today we have a total free day. There may be something you have seen already and wish to revisit in more depth, you may wish to chill out at the hotel or visit one of the exclusive beach clubs. We will have lots of ideas and options.

Visit the exclusive Villagio Mall for high end shopping and even a gondola ride,

take a trip to the luxurious Banana island for the day to relax like royalty. For around £85 we can book a day ticket Inclusive of:

• Pool and beach access
• QAR 200 per person to spend at any resort restaurant
• QAR 100 credit per person toward selected recreational activities (Zipline excluded; top-up required for activities exceeding value)
• Luxury boat transfers departing from Al Shyoukh Port at 9.00 am and returning at 5.30 pm

There’s even a cheesecake factory and a museum of illusions! It is really easy to get around in both Qatar and Bahrain using ubers that are very reasonable, safe and reliable.

Today we take a private transfer to the airport and a short flight to our hotel the 4* Savoy Grand Hotel. The hotel has a restaurant and a swimming pool and breakfast is included each morning.

This evening we taste our way around Bahrain on a foodie tour. We will try everything from different types of drinks,  iconic local dishes,  traditional sweets, local grills (please note that this tour is not suitable for anyone with dietary requirements).

Today we embark on a captivating journey through Bahrain’s rich history of more than 5000 years of human civilization and modern wonders, from the contemporary allure of Bahrain Bay to the ancient mysteries of Bahrain Fort and the Dilmun Graves. Explore the bustling Bab Al Bahrain and Manama Souq, where tradition meets commerce, and admire the stunning architecture of Al-Fateh Grand Mosque. Experience the legacy of Bahrain’s pearling industry, visit the resilient Tree of Life, and interact with camels at the Royal Camel Farm.
