8 Nights on Corfu Island with Paxos and Antipaxos Day Cruise and Full Day Albania Tour.

Meet the group at the airport and board our flight to Corfu 

Upon arrival we will take our private transfer to the Telesilla Hotel, our perfect island base that combines the warmth of family hospitality with modern comfort and high standards of cleanliness, offering elegant and cosy rooms designed for relaxation and peace of mind. 

The “Bites & Cocktails” lounge offers a stylish atmosphere with light Greek tapas, tropical cocktails, and a curated wine list by the poolside. 

The hotel’s private rooftop, “Lemon Tree Veranda,” is a serene wellness space perfect for yoga or pilates sessions at sunrise or sunset, offering a unique spot to relax and recharge. 

Ideally located near the Gouvia Marina , and just minutes from Corfu Old Town, it is the ideal base for exploring the island — blending relaxation, convenience, and the genuine warmth of Corfiot hospitality.​  The beach is just a few minutes walk away.

Throughout the tour we will be staying in twin rooms but there is an option to have a room to yourself for the trip. If you wish to have a room to yourself for the 8 nights the supplement will be £285. The supplement will be payable at the same time as the balance.      

The Travel Buddies trips work on the basis that as long as you are having a good time then that is what matters, if you don’t feel like coming on one of the excursions or joining the rest of the group for dinner one evening then that is absolutely fine. This is an adventure for everyone and there is nothing worse than having to go somewhere/do something that you don’t really fancy!

Feel free to do as much or as little research as you like, some members will know what 

they would like to visit as soon as they book the trip, Others will just turn up at the airport and have not researched at all. Either is absolutely fine. We all have different ideas as to what constitutes a great time away! 

After a relaxed morning lets head into Corfu town on the bus and explore the  Unesco listed “old town” 

Dinner will be booked locally

Today we head off on an island-hopping day tour to neighboring Paxos and Antipaxos islands. Soak up views of coastal cliffs, beaches, and sail into the vivid blue  sea caves  of Paxos along the way. The boat docks at Antipaxos’ Voutoumi Beach and at the seaside village of Gaios, allowing us to explore both locations at our leisure., 

Hotel transfers are included. There will be a stop for the day for lunch ( not included)

Today is a free day to do as we please. 

This evening we will  have the option to experience true Corfuit hospitality with a dinner at Tripas Taverna. The place to go! 

Since 1936, Mr Tripa – Spyros Anyfantis – has been presiding over his taverna in the picturesque village of Kinopiastes seven kilometers south-west of Corfu Town.

During those years, the taverna’s reputation as a spot for genuine Corfiot fare has grown, so that everyone of any note singles out TRIPA for a visit during a stay on the island.

Among those who have enjoyed Tripa’s famous hospitality are Greek President essay writing service Constantine Karamanlis, French President Francois Mitterand, actress Jane Fonda, Aristotle Onassis and the original Zorbas Anthony Quinn.

The experience includes live Greek music and, often, traditional dancing. It is renowned for its rustic atmosphere and classic Corfiot dishes.(Please note that Vegetarian options are limited)

Dinner and return transfers to the restaurant are not included and cost around £50pp

Day 5.  Sunday 6th September 

Today for those that would like to, we will have the option to visit the Monastery  Vlacherna, an iconic 17th-century white-washed church and one of the most photographed landmarks on the island of Corfu. Situated on a tiny islet in the Kanoni peninsula, it is connected to the mainland by a narrow pedestrian causeway. And was one of the  filming locations for “your eyes only”….  

This evening lets enjoy traditional food and live entertainment locally at “Harry’s” Taverna. 

Today is a free day.

We are off on a full day tour to Albania today. 

Step back in time at the ancient Greek and Roman city of Butrint. Visit an archaeological museum in a Venetian castle and savour a delicious buffet lunch at a restaurant in Saranda. 

Board the airconditioned bus at our meeting point, sit back and enjoy the ride to the port city of Saranda. Enjoy a 20-kilometre guided bus tour of the stunning southern coast and its virgin shores and islands.

Pass through small villages and through endless fertile plains,  arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Butrint, where the ancient Greek city of Buthrotum disappeared under layers of silt and vegetation until it was found by archaeologists. 

Tour a Venetian tower and see the remains of the theatre and Temple of Asclepius. 

Continue to the ruins of the ancient gymnasium and Roman Baths and admire a priceless mosaic floor in the Roman Baptistery.

Travel back in time as you explore the Cyclopean walls and get panoramic views of the lake and plains from the top of the hill. Return to Saranda for a mouth-watering lunch, and then take a guided walking tour before sailing back to Corfu.

Today we have a free day, Some options that you may like to considered are a visit to Monroepos Palace or  a “Durrals” tour.

Today after a leisurely breakfast and checking out we will have the full day to shop for souvenirs, relax at the hotel or explore further before taking the transfer to the airport for our flight home.
