5 Days in Paris with summit Eiffel Tower tickets and Palace of Versailles day trip

Meet the group at the airport and board our flight to Paris.

Upon our arrival into Paris Beauvais airport we will take our private transfer to our hotel the Lux Hotel Picpus.

Throughout the tour we will be staying in twin rooms but there is an option to have a room to yourself for the trip. If you wish to have a room to yourself for the 4 nights the supplement will be £190. The supplement will be payable at the same time as the balance. Breakfast can be paid for at the hotel and costs £13 each day or there are an abundance of coffee shops and patisseries close by. There are tea and coffee makers in the rooms.  

Located in the 12th Arrondissement with a metro stop to the heart of the city just 250 metres away the hotel is located in a perfect neighbourhood for exploring. With a plethora of bars and local  restaurants just a few minutes walk away we are ideally situated to get the most out of every day.  

 The Travel Buddies trips work on the basis that as long as you are having a good time then that is what matters, if you don’t feel like coming on one of the excursions or joining the rest of the group for dinner one evening then that is absolutely fine. This is an adventure for everyone and there is nothing worse than having to go somewhere/do something that you don’t really fancy!

Feel free to do as much or as little research as you like, some members will know what they would like to visit as soon as they book the trip, Others will just turn up at the airport and have not researched at all. Either is absolutely fine. We all have different ideas as to what constitutes a great time away! 

After checking in we will hop on the Metro to the Eiffel tower where we have tickets to the summit ( by lift) Going to the top of the Eiffel Tower, 276 meters high, is the most sought-after visitor experience in Paris. 

We’ll experience the thrill of the ascent to the summit, within the monument’s impressive structure, and enjoy spectacular 360-degree views of Paris.You can even celebrate this moment with a glass of champagne at the highest bar in Paris. We’ll also discover a few surprises, such as Gustave Eiffel’s secret office. Then, take our time to explore all the lower floors.

A boat tour on the River Seine will top off our first afternoon in Paris.

This 1-hour river cruise showcases the best riverside landmarks in Paris. You’ll see beautiful monuments and iconic bridges, with live-guided commentary explaining their historical and cultural significance.

Today we will make our way to the nearest stop to use our hop on off bus passes that have 10 stops all over the city. It is the perfect way to get acquainted with the most famous landmarks and we can choose to hop off wherever we wish. 

Stops include the Louvre Museum,  The Arc De Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral , Champs- Elysee and the Place De La Concorde.

Today we have a free day to do as we choose.  There will be an option to go to the Louvre  Museum with the tour leader this morning and we will advise you prior to the trip what time to book your ticket for so that those that wish to can go together.

There is so much to do in Paris according to different tastes and this is a great way to ensure that everyone gets to see and do as they please. You can choose to go an explore independently if you wish to do so.

Today we will visit the palace of Versailles. Our entry ticket is included and includes entry to the palace of Versailles, the Estate of Triannon and the gardens of Versailles.

We will take public transport which takes around 1 hour each way.

Today after checking out we have the day to do as we please before collecting our luggage and taking our private transfer to the airport for our flight home.
