4 Nights Exploring the Stunning Cappadocia.

After meeting at the airport we will meet the rest of the group and board our flight to Nevsehir
Upon arrival we will take our private transfer to the Woox Cappadocia where we will be staying for 4 nights in twin rooms.

All rooms have air-conditioning, private bathrooms, and garden or city views. Each room includes a tea and coffee maker, minibar, and free toiletries.

You can book either a Deluxe room for a supplement of £100 for the 4 nights or a superior room for £160 for the 4 nights. You can choose when you book directly on the website according to availability

The Travel Buddies trips work on the basis that as long as you are having a good time then that is what matters, if you don’t feel like coming on one of the excursions or joining the rest of the group for dinner one evening then that is absolutely fine. This is an adventure for everyone and there is nothing worse than having to go somewhere/do something that you don’t really fancy!

Feel free to do as much or as little research as you like, some members will know what they would like to visit as soon as they book the trip, Others will just turn up at the airport and have not researched at all. Either is absolutely fine. We all have different ideas as to what constitutes a great time away!

After breakfast at our hotel we will take a fully guided private group day tour of the North Cappadocia route including

The Devrent Valley (Pink Valley), The Pasabag Open Air Museum – which earned its popular name from the hermit monks who carved chapels and living cells directly into the fairy chimney pillars.

During our stop at the Avanos pottery workshop we can get creative and make a piece of pottery or just spend some time browsing and enjoying a refreshment stop. (Please note that there is a small additional charge for the pottery workshop)

Further stops this afternoon are the Goreme Panoramic valley View, the Zelve Open Air Museum and Uchisar Castle (exterior only)

We will return to the hotel at around 17.00 and have some time to relax before going for dinner locally.

Transfers and lunch are included.

Free day to explore as we choose, wander locally and enjoy a coffee break on one of the many rooftops with wonderful views, take an additional horseriding or buggy trip, or relax with a turkish hammam….. The choice is ours.
If you would love to experience a balloon ride over the Goreme valley or even witness this incredible spectacle from the most incredible viewpoints we will contact you prior to the trip with options to book. Depending on the number of us that would like to enjoy this experience the price can vary but we would estimate it to be around £140.

Please note that there are much cheaper balloon flights over the the Songanli valley if you would prefer to do one of those but there are a lot less balloons going from that location so you won’t get the overall vision of the sky being “filled with Balloons as you would in Goreme” (like the above pictures)

This evening we will experience a Sema ceremony, a traditional Turkish spiritual ceremony, and witness beautiful singing, instrument playing and dancing on a cultural excursion. Hotel transfers and entrance ticket ar included

After breakfast at our hotel we will take a full day private group tour of the North Cappadocia route including

The Red Valley and Rose Valley (Gulludere Valley): Rose Valley, known locally as Gulludere, takes its name from the distinctive pinkish hue its limestone cliffs radiate when hit by late afternoon sunlight. Ancient rock-cut Byzantine churches are carved into the valley walls at various heights, their interiors still bearing faded painted frescoes from early Christian communities.

Cavusin Village: Interior rooms visible through Cavusin’s open cave doorways still show carved shelves, niches, and floor channels, evidence of organized domestic life inside what appears to be bare rock from outside.
Pigeon Valley and the Underground City: Rock carvings and scratched markings on walls in Cappadocia’s underground city are believed by some researchers to be ancient wayfinding markers, helping residents navigate the tunnel network in low light.

We will return to the hotel at around 17.00 and have some time to relax before going for dinner locally.
